As a fan of the amazing classical singer Hayley Westenra, when I heard she was performing in the England I worked for over 40 hours on her portrait, incorporating 24ct Gold leaf on her dress.

I wrote to the theatre and they kindly arranged for me to meet Hayley before her show.

Hayley was so wonderful and friendly and was clearly thrilled with the portrait. She kindly autographed it and posed for a photo with me.

Hayley also remembered me when I met her again at a subsequent concert and I had a wonderful chat with her and her lovely family.
