I met Olga at a film convention in Birmingham whilst getting my portrait of Ursula Andress autographed by Ursula.
Olga was very impressed with the portrait and commissioned me to paint one of herself.
Olga lived in Rome and when it was completed she kindly invited me and my friend Karen to Rome to deliver this portrait in person and was so friendly and kind to us when we arrived there, even inviting us to an exclusive champagne reception evening for her friends that evening, commemorating an anniversary.
We enjoyed a fabulous weekend in Rome, and kept in touch with Olga for a few years after. A lovely, generous and warm hearted lady. We also became friends with Olga’s lovely friend Maya too.
