After voice training with Jacquie Crago (of the Royal Shakespeare Company) I also began extensive studying of the Meisner acting technique with Mark Cassidy. My first lead role was Sydney Carton in Charles Dickens’ 'A Tale of Two Cities' at the Regent Theatre, Christchurch. I then enjoyed lead roles in two TV commercials aired on ITV and Sky Sports playing a football manager getting soaked in the rain (for Screwfix).
Back on stage, I received critical acclaim for my lead role as Elyot Chase in Scaramouche's production of 'Private Lives' by Noel Coward. My most praised performance was as Jesus in The Poole Passion Play 'Footsteps' (2022). Receiving comments from audiences as "Mesmerising" and "Phenomenal", which resulted in me being the first actor in the Poole Passion’s fifteen year history to be asked to play role again, breaking their policy of having a new actor playing Jesus in each biannual production.
