Peter came to a theatre in a nearby town (Christchurch) to give a talk about his distinguished career.

I worked for over 40 hours on this portrait of the characters ‘Wallace and Gromit’ for which Peter superbly gave the voices for the famous films.

I also applied 24ct Gold Leaf to the champagne glasses in the painting.

After his talk, Peter came into the theatre foyer to sign autographs. When he saw my painting he said “Oh my goodness!…WOW!”

Peter was very warm hearted and was making jokes with every body there, he kindly posed for a photo with myself and the painting.

A wonderful man and I shall always have fond memories of meeting him.
