Having met Leonardo a couple of years before for my Titanic painting, I knew he was always kind in signing autographs for his fans, so when I read he was attended another premiere in November 2008 I decided to paint a portrait of him again.

After 30 hours of work on the portrait, I left home at 6am and travelled 100 miles to London for the premiere of 'Body Of Lies’.

Arriving around 9am, I waited all day with the fans.

At 6pm Leonardo arrived and signed autographs for hundreds of fans.

He saw my painting and gave a surprised expression and smiled and came over to me and signed it.
